With our expert help in scheduling, most owner-builders spend less than one to two hours per day monitoring their projects. Our consultants will be at your site whenever you wish.
What about warranties?
All work is under subcontractor warranty.
How much can I expect to save with Consult ‘n Build?
Since the middle man is gone, you are able to benefit from our large volume discounts for materials and labor. There is no markup. You Consult ‘n Build charges a fixed fee based on the size of your home. For instance, if the home plan you choose is around 2000 sq. ft., your savings could be from $20,000 to $30,000.
How do I find a lot?
We will be glad to help you select a perfect lot.
Can I use my own subcontractors?
Yes, you are in charge.
Can I do some of my own work?
Yes, to save even more money, you can do your own work.
What about house plans?
We can help you with selecting a great plan or design a plan from scratch.
Who pays the bills?
The builder-owner pays the bills and is in control of the entire project. A Consult ‘n Build team member will inspect the work to ensure it has been done correctly before the bills are paid.
How long will it take to build my house?
In most cases, it will take 4 to 6 months.
